The set is store in its original real leather, high quality box. The pieces are stored in custom compartments and the board folds and slides into a special holding place built into the lid. The box shows some wear of age but overall, the set was hardly ever played with or even taken out of the box. The original twenty page brochure is in-tact and looks like was never even opened.
