Description: The Vista Alegre (VA) Company was founded in 1824. Belgian artist Jeannine Hetreau, who migrated to Portugal became their artistic director from 1957 and 1966. Jeannine chose the perennial motive of Spanish and Portuguese history as her inspiration - the reconquista.
