| Description: | OOAK Chess set and board made of stained glass. Hand made by American artist Gene Duvic, one side using mirror the other dark glass from glass. All pieces and board are drop-welding method to construct this ornate set. The pieces are triangular and built to resemble the standard Staunton design and further embellished with color matching beads. The board is made of individual glass squares welded together and raised onto a solid glass border creating a tray that can be used to store as well as display the chess pieces. Artist signed and his name is etched on the board. Sale. |
