Description: American Indian Tribal Chess set using Hopi and Zuni inspired Kachina chessmen dolls. Outstanding details carved in stone and embellished with semi-precious stones of traditional Native American Indian (Navajo). Handcrafted by American Indian artisans of the Southwest using materials indigenous to that area. Fantastic theme, resembling mini Kachina dolls carved in stone. One side solid light stone (Alabaster?) the other gray tone (Agate?). Charming, decorative semi-precious stones in blue (Turquoise) and red (Coral) mounted using metal (silver?) wire. Pieces are further decorated/etched as well as marked for play using common chess pieces markings. One of a kind, super imaginative, multi-media Chess set. 2022. For Sale.
