| Description: | Genuine Staunton Chessmen. Two prize medals awarded. Fantastic chess set in original Mahogany box is superb condition, lockable with working original key. Lock stamped "British Made". Label in near perfect condition. Lining shows some aging but is very good condition. Box with two separated compartments.
Heavily weighted in the Jaques signature tradition. Both Kings stamped "Jaques London". King s Knight and Rook on both sides stamped with the famous red "Crown".
All in excellent condition. Like new. Looks like never or hardly used for playing. Observations - one black knight is age-cracked at base. Sale. |
