| Description: | Custom Walnut & Oak Chess Set, a la Bauhous concept/style - simple design, each piece shape represents its move, solid craftsmanship. Custom board / storage box made of over 0.5" thick individual Walnut & Oak squares too. King in a shape of Cross, eight-sided Queen, six-sided "diagonal" bishops, "L" shape mirror imaged Knights (one pointing left the other right), Rectangular rooks and simple small rectangular pawns. Beautiful and very original. Date unknown but judging by the hardware this is likely a mid-early 20th century set. Excellent condition.
