| Description: | Custom glass chess set. Each piece was hand blown, clear and frosted. The frosted glass pieces were sand blasted. Unique design. To give you an idea of the size of the pieces the king is 6" tall. Condition is excellent I see no flaws. The board they are on is more for display it is a standard wood board not worth much. The gentleman that made these passed away in the early 2000. I do not know when he made this set a guess would be 1970s or 80s. He was a very good glass blower and did many items like ships in bottles very beautiful paperweights etc. He also worked with the man that made the dunking bird, that was the glass bird that would bob and take a drink, it was a pretty big invention back in the 1950s.
